Ah, the ol’ big sell. I’m resisting the urge to write this in the third person, David Brent style…

Producer / Director
Based in the North West, I Produce and Direct a wide range of TV shows.
I’ve been lucky enough to have travelled the world with work from USA (I hold a valid I-VISA), Mexico, France, Greece etc in a range of challenging environments from the blistering heat of a Nevada desert in summer to the snow of a Swedish winter.

Last few credits have been:

Find It, Fix It, Flog It – Channel 4 / HCA Entertainment
Supercar Megabuild – Nat Geo / Endemol Shine North
Absolute Genius – Children’s BBC

Been shooting main camera all my career so use wide a range of cameras such as the Sony’s – F5, FS7, PMW500 and the Canon’s – C300, XF305, DSLR, Go Pros etc plus sound and lighting.

I absolutely love writing too. Scripting is something I enjoy most about the job. Sharp, factually sound scripts and ideally ones that require a comedic tone.

On top of the films I make for TV I also produce and direct short films which I put online for free. That said, these side projects have been sold and shown on TV Channels such as Box Nation, National Geographic, Channel 4, More 4, S4C, Sky News, BBC One.

See the online films page for more info.

Corporate / Videographer / Editor
If you have an event, business, product or simply want to promote something with a video get in touch for a quote. If required I do everything from writing the initial script through to filming, editing and delivering to client via format of their choice (media file/online link, DVD….papyrus scroll). For bigger jobs I have additional crew I can bring in too. If you have footage you need editing get in touch with info. If the footage can get to me (hard drive, FTP, yousendit etc) I can edit it to your specification.

Basically I love to be busy and I’m a nerd when it comes to cameras, kit and editing so any extra stuff that comes along is always welcomed.

Recently upgraded my kit to a huge iMac and the latest FCPX and Premier Pro. I’m a FCP7 guy but it’s tough these days to be faithful to the outdated software.
